We have a current opportunity for a Commissioning Leadon a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position, please apply.Purpose Responsible for all aspects of pre-commissioning and commissioning to support the successful delivery of the Compression Project scope.Support commissioning functions for the Compression Project during the execution stage as necessary.Accountabilities Manage the timely delivery of all systems completion’s deliverables (pre-commissioning and commissioning) for the Compression Project.Ensure overall commissioning compliance with project specifications, procedures, and plans.Develop and manage effective commissioning procedures, tools, and plans for smooth handover to the operating organization.Create a project environment that encourages team contribution and excellence.Coordinate complex internal and external interfaces, including potential simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).Maintain clear and concise communication with PMT members.Lead by example, demonstrating high integrity and sensitivity to multicultural differences and effective communication, especially with non-native English speakers.Collaborate effectively with project teams and departments to resolve issues through communication, initiative, and flexibility.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.Knowledge and Experience At least 8 years of experience in large-project commissioning within the Oil & Gas industry, including supervisory or oversight roles.Experience working with oil & gas companies, contractors, or service providers.Expertise in reading P&IDs, datasheets, general arrangement drawings, and procedures.Knowledge of project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and systems completion.Understanding of compliance with contract requirements, codes, standards, and technical specifications.Experience with vendors in the LNG industry, including compressors, power systems, control systems, and topsides.Experience working in large-scale operational organizations across various departments.Experience supporting start-up operations.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion As an international workforce business, we are dedicated to reflecting the diversity and values of our client base and Orion Group.
