This includes ensuring optimal stock levels, cost efficiency, and profitability. As a Cost Controller, you should possess a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical abilities, and the expertise to implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive cost savings.Key Responsibilities Supervise daily receiving and storekeeping activities to ensure proper documentation and storage of goods.Maintain accurate records of inventory movements with proper documentation.Define and monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and implement par stock systems.Perform daily and monthly F&B reconciliations using the POS system.Conduct physical counts of beverage stocks and manage month-end inventory.Work with the Purchasing Department to track pending and partial deliveries.Provide analysis of budgets, cost projections, and variances.Identify new vendors and explore potential cost-saving opportunities.Understand how productivity impacts profitability and recommend improvements.Develop and implement cost-cutting initiatives and track their results.Investigate variances and take corrective actions.Calculate and report variances between budgets and actual results.Qualifications Proven experience in cost control, inventory management, or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.Strong understanding of inventory management systems, POS systems, and financial reconciliation processes.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar software for data tracking and analysis.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Food and Beverage Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Daikan by 2x.Related Job Opportunities Vice President, Internal Control for Financial Reporting - Dubai, UAECorporate Financial Controller, Trilogy (Remote) - USD 400,000/year Financial Controller
