A well-established international company in the heavy equipment and construction services sector is seeking a Procurement Team Lead to join its operations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This full-time role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the procurement of heavy machinery and spare parts, particularly in the Middle East region.Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational goals.Plan and manage procurement of heavy equipment, spare parts, and services.Lead and mentor a procurement team, setting KPIs and driving performance.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing and contracts.Monitor procurement budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and finance for demand forecasting.Analyze market trends and recommend alternative sourcing strategies.Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on technical equipment or spare parts.Expertise in sourcing for cranes, heavy lifting, or earthmoving machinery.Strong command of English (written and spoken).Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/procurement systems.Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.Experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.If you're ready to lead procurement in a dynamic and growing environment, we d love to hear from you.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
