Android Developer: Design Android apps, integrate Io T, use AWS, follow best practices. 5+ years in Kotlin/Java, Io T, AWS, agile.Description Design and develop native Android applications optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrate Android apps with various Io T hardware (e.g., sensors, cameras, ESP32, Arduino, BLE devices). Implement communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/REST, and real-time data streams from Io T devices. Develop secure and efficient communication pipelines between mobile apps, AWS cloud services (Io T Core, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.), and edge devices. Collaborate with hardware, backend, and cloud engineers to build end-to-end Io T solutions. Ensure security best practices across mobile, device, and cloud layers.Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Android native development using Kotlin and Java.Strong understanding of Android SDKs, Jetpack components, and architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).Deep experience working with Io T systems, including device pairing, data streaming, firmware integration, and edge computing.Experience with AWS services, especially AWS Io T Core, Lambda, Cognito, S3, and Dynamo DB.Familiarity with camera handling, USB integration, and low-level device control on Android.Solid knowledge of MQTT, BLE, and real-time data processing.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools like Git, JIRA, and CI/CD systems.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.About Smart DCC Technologies: DCC is a pioneering Emirati Research and Development company with deep roots in the United Arab Emirates.
