Patient Safety and Risk Officer We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Safety and Risk Officer to join our Risk Management team. This role supports the implementation of patient safety programs, manages clinical and case reviews, and drives risk mitigation strategies to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization.Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a health-related field (required)Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (e.g., CPHRM) and/or Patient Safety (e.g., CPPS) is an advantage Master’s degree in healthcare management or related field (preferred)Professional Experience/ Knowledge: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in patient safety, clinical risk management, or healthcare quality Familiarity with case reviews and incident investigation Knowledge of international accreditation standards (e.g., JCI) and local regulatory requirements Knowledge with risk reporting platforms and tools such as RCA and FMEASpecialized Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lead case investigations and facilitate multidisciplinary reviews Strong documentation and reporting capabilities, including use of risk/event trackers Skilled in building relationships with clinical and non-clinical teams Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality Ability to produce reports, action plans, both written and verbal Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Facilitate case investigations, Root Cause Analyses (RCA), and multidisciplinary case reviews Manage and update the case review tracker and ensure timely progress reporting Coordinate case reviews and liaise with the Legal, Medical Affairs, and Clinical teams as needed Review and analyse incidents and safety reports to identify trends and risks Support timely incident documentation, review, and closure in the electronic reporting system Participate in clinical audits, compliance monitoring, and patient safety improvement initiatives Educate staff on patient safety principles and regulatory standards Facilitate risk assessments and proactive safety planning (e.g., FMEA, HVA)Coordinate Mortality and Morbidity case reviews Develop and maintain databases, facilitating collation and population of data ensuring that a comprehensive audit trail is maintained for all aspects of work, both electronically and in paper files.Assist clinical departments in establishing systems for reviewing, analyzing, and validating patient safety and risk-related data.Assist in the development and implementation of unit-based risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks.Lead or coordinate incident investigations and ensure collaborative input for case analysis and resolution.Provide education and training to clinical and non-clinical staff on patient safety practices, risk reporting, and quality improvement tools.Note : Only shortlisted applicants will get contacted #J-18808-Ljbffr
