Alpheya seeks a Principal Frontend Engineer to lead frontend development, innovate within the fintech sector, and collaborate with cross-functional teams at a Wealth Tech startup.About Alpheya We are a B2B Wealth Tech startup based in Abu Dhabi and backed by BNY Mellon and Lunate. Our mission is to power and grow our clients' Wealth franchises through differentiated experiences, financial solutions, and insights. We are doing this through a state-of-the-art digital wealth management platform that will enable banks and other financial institutions in the GCC to grow and further penetrate affluent, HNW, and UHNW investor segments.While still leveraging the capabilities and knowledge of large organizations, our fintech is a startup with truly cross-functional and agile teams. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting journey right from its inception, as we look to build our organization, design, and build the product, and go live with the first client in the next 12 months.Principal Frontend Engineer Role Description and Responsibilities Leading the frontend development of our Next.js-based fintech platform.Collaborating with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Designers to deliver high-quality functionalities.Owning the end-to-end delivery of key features, ensuring performance and reliability.Leading by example in writing clean, maintainable code.Driving innovation and improvements in our development practices.Contributing to a culture of continuous learning.This role is unique due to its blend of technical leadership and hands-on development. You'll be at the forefront of building a cutting-edge fintech platform, facing unique challenges and opportunities to innovate in the finance sector.
