The company is founder-led, profitable, and growing.We are hiring a Junior Project Manager Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers ensure project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.Within a portfolio of projects involving complex and evolving software technologies, customer and partner satisfaction depends on exceptional Project Managers who respect and engage all stakeholders.The role entails Ensuring programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resources expectations.Supporting the identification of key technical and project risks and issues, and implementing mitigation actions.Maintaining strong customer focus and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.Assisting in conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.Supporting the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables.Advocating for appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers.What we are looking for in you Exceptional academic achievement in science, software engineering, or information technology, with excellent communication skills in English.A solution-oriented mindset and a professional approach, with demonstrated leadership skills.Track record of exceeding expectations to achieve outstanding results.Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects or initiatives.Strong work ethic, confidence, and ability to collaborate effectively.Excellent interpersonal, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability skills.Appreciation for diversity and effectiveness in a multicultural environment.Self-motivation, thoughtfulness, and result-oriented attitude.Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.What we offer colleagues Distributed work environment with biannual in-person team sprints.Annual personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000.Regular compensation reviews and performance bonuses.Additional benefits reflecting our values, including holiday leave, parental leave, wellness programs, and travel opportunities.About Canonical Canonical pioneers in open source, publishing Ubuntu, a key platform for AI, Io T, and cloud.
