Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Key responsibilities include: Thoroughly study the contract scope of work and construction drawings, and understand the project budget. Ensure full understanding and implementation of QHSE requirements. Identify and provide necessary resources required for the project schedule. Ensure timely project execution by setting and monitoring daily targets across disciplines. Control and coordinate with team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and foremen to align progress with project planning documents. Review daily activity progress reports against planned targets and communicate findings to the Planning Engineer. Liaise regularly with the customer to resolve construction issues and ensure work continuity. Coordinate with the Plant department for equipment repair and maintenance. Initiate technical queries as needed and record deviations, updating as-built documentation accordingly. Coordinate with draughtsmen for the preparation of shop drawings required at the site. Maintain close communication with the Project Manager on technical, administrative, and commercial matters. Approve material issue slips with BOQ item codes respecting the budget. Reconcile materials monthly and take actions to minimize wastage. Support Quantity Surveyors and Planning team in raising monthly bills. Gather data on potential business opportunities nearby. Manage subcontractor activities and periodically certify invoices. Act as Project Manager in the absence of the designated Project Manager. Uphold the company's HSE standards and ensure their strict implementation. Implement company IMS standards to meet organizational objectives. Perform any additional duties assigned by the Project Manager, Head of Division, or CEO.
