Senior Structural Engineer

Lead a team of structural engineers and drafters, providing clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project success and professional growth.Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment of design objectives.Perform detailed structural analysis and design for various building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and quality.Provide technical expertise and solutions for complex structural challenges, guiding the team in the selection of appropriate materials and construction methods.Oversee the preparation of construction documents, ensuring they are well-coordinated and meet project requirements.Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural designs with architectural, mechanical, and electrical components.Act as the main point of contact for client communication related to structural design and provide updates on project status as needed.Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.Contribute to the development and improvement of internal design standards, procedures, and workflows.Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.7 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities. Experience within the GCC region is a plus.Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, RSA, STAAD.Pro, IDEA STATICA, TEKLA.In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to structural design.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Effective communication skills for client interactions, team collaboration, and presentations.Proven experience in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address complex structural challenges.Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
