In this role, you will assist the Resident Engineer in design review and construction related to structural works of the project.Don't miss this opportunity to contribute directly to Dubai's growing infrastructure!What You'll Be Doing: Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of bridges/viaducts and related items.Coordinate activities with other engineers and the construction supervision team.Assist in reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and related correspondence, preparing review responses for the Resident Engineer.Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers to resolve issues.Maintain daily diaries and reports by inspectors.Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource application.Monitor inspectors and surveyors' performance.Chair meetings with authorities, contractors, subcontractors, and related parties.Ensure records are accurate and complete.Oversee safety procedures and ensure safety goals are met.Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.Participate in health and safety initiatives at the site.Provide on-site direction and assist in issuing site instructions related to utilities and other items.Measure, record, and assist in displaying work progress.Ensure 'as-built' drawings are correct and complete.Manage records and assist in handing over structures to authorities, obtaining final clearances.What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.At least 6 years of experience in construction supervision of bridges and underpasses.Ability to review material submissions, analyze reports, and ensure compliance with specifications.Proficiency in computer software relevant to engineering and construction.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience supervising major bridges and infrastructure projects in the Gulf region.Engineering consultancy experience in UAE/GCC is preferred.Parsons values diversity and employment at all levels regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.We invest in our employees' wellbeing and offer endless growth opportunities.
