Graduate; MBA / Management Post Graduates Job Function Banking / Financial Services IT - Software Skillset Data scientist, Bank Preferred Jobseekers Jobseekers from any country Nair Systems is currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role: Advanced knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, etc.)Knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus (Python, C++, Java)Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire others, build strong relationships, and create a followership; result-driven achievers Effective communication skills to convey analytical and technical content in an understandable manner Previous experience required (if any): Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related; an advanced degree is a strong plus7-8 years of hands-on experience in mathematical modeling within a business environment Proven experience working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL)Strong knowledge of data science or decision science domains such as supervised/unsupervised learning, explainable AI, econometrics, deep learning, NLP, time series forecasting, deployment, causal inference, uplift modeling, and optimization Ability to describe analytic processes comprehensively from start to finish Key Accountabilities of the role: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions Mine and analyze data to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategies Assess new data sources and gathering techniques for effectiveness and accuracy Develop custom data models and algorithms for datasets Use predictive modeling to enhance customer experiences, revenue, and other outcomes Develop A/B testing frameworks and evaluate model quality Coordinate with teams to implement models and monitor results Create processes and tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy Joining timeframe: 2 weeks to 1 month If interested, please send your latest resume.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
