About the job Sr. Project Manager - Ship Repair Position: Sr. Project Manager - Ship Repair Our client, a leading ship repair company in Dubai, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee their ship repair projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all aspects of ship repair projects, from planning to execution- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets- Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed within the agreed timeline and budget- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the project- Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards- Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders- Conduct project evaluations and make recommendations for improvement- Mentor and guide project team members to ensure their professional development- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ship repair project management Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry- Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously- Proven track record of successfully managing complex ship repair projects- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the shipbuilding industry- Proficient in project management software and tools- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed- Fluency in English & Arabic, both written and verbal- PMP certification is a plus.If you are a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for ship repair projects, we want to hear from you!
