We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description: Highway Design Engineer Dubai, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Highway Design Engineer to join our team!What You'll Be Doing: Independently develop and/or supervise the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.Produce typical products such as detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.Provide support for other engineering activities as required.Supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.Be assigned to a project or organizational team, or act as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field).Minimum 5 years of related work experience.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.Proficiency in working with Auto Desk Civil 3D.Very good knowledge of utilizing Bentley Microstation.Proficiency in utilizing any other CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience in design/engagement in developing major highway schemes, such as interchanges, large signalized intersections, roundabout designs.Experience in Bentley Open Roads is beneficial.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
