Nurse

Bizrahmed is seeking a qualified and experienced DHA-licensed Registered Nurse with proven skills in the Operating Theater (OT) environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Scrub Nurse or First Assistant and will support the surgical team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role also includes outpatient clinic support, post-operative care, and administrative responsibilities.Key Responsibilities: Assist the surgeon in the OT as a Scrub Nurse or First Assistant, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained.Prepare, sterilize, and arrange surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures.Handle instruments and materials efficiently during surgical procedures.Perform garment and dressing changes as instructed by the medical team.Assist doctors in OPD (Outpatient Department) clinics, including patient preparation, minor procedures, and follow-up care.Ensure accurate stock control of surgical and medical supplies, reporting shortages and maintaining inventory.Escort patients before and after procedures and provide clear pre/post-operative instructions.Accurately update patient files and records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with medical documentation standards.Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in all patient care and OT activities.Participate in training, drills, and continuous professional development sessions as required.Qualifications & Requirements: Valid DHA License or Eligibility as a Registered Nurse.Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or surgical center, preferably in OT as a scrub nurse or first assistant.Familiarity with plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedures is an advantage.Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to excellence in care.Working Hours: Full-time; flexible schedule as per surgery and clinic requirements.
