Project Director

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent· Minimum 15 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least 09 years as Projects Manager in reputable Oil & Gas EPC companies Strong Offshore experience Preferred Jobs at this level are ultimately responsible for the management, direction and co-ordination of all Projects resources, typically on megasized Projects, in order to ensure that construction meets all client contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner. They might also work on a number of Projects at any one time Desired Candidate Profile· Manage, direct and co-ordinate all Projects/sites activity with responsibility for delivering the Projects to the client in compliance with all contractual requirements, ensuring that resource usage is optimised to achieve, or exceed, NMDC Projected profit margins· Review contract/tendering documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirements, participating and/or directing the preliminary planning stages as necessary· Co-ordinate the work of the mobilisation team to ensure that all necessary activities are reviewed with actions properly assigned, timescales agreed and relevant parties properly briefed with new communication channels established where necessary· Establish along with the PMT, the resourcing requirements for respective Projects segments, including staffing and plant to ensure that these are accurate and realistic and that any necessary steps needed to supply resources have been arranged· Co-ordinate, in conjunction with the PMT, the development and establishment of the Projects planning package together with the mechanisms for monitoring subsequent progress against that plan. Ensure that corrective action is agreed and implemented at the appropriate level where variations from plans occur· Liaise with relevant staff to ensure that the Projects monitoring system is implemented properly and that output on financial performance is reviewed at the appropriate level and frequency to ensure effective control of the Projects budget Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
