Safety and Environment Manager

Lead, advise, support and promote Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management, alongside with providing awareness, measuring and ensuring compliance with internal/ external policies and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe workplace with targeting 0% accident in the Plant and connected accommodations and Offices.• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related Engineering field.• Minimum 15 years experiences in the Health, Safety and Environment field with heavy industry (oil & gas, steel, cement, ready mix) or construction field experience and 5 years in the Managerial level.• In depth knowledge of IOSH, NEBOSH, OSHA international HSE codes and standards.• Professional HSE certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH and/or accreditations from local and internationally recognized Health and Safety Standards organizations.• Audit qualification background and inspection experience with ISO/IOHS/NEBOSH Standards.• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills to lead the HSE team and to work in cooperation with the related technical and non-technical Departments.• Excellent training skills to deliver safety training and orientation for the new and the existing staff.• IOSH and/or accredited occupational associations membership would be asset.
