Description
Faculty members are responsible for providing effective instruction in Medical Imaging. Using various learning methodologies that support a learning-by-doing philosophy, the curriculum is taught to second language learners within a student-centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. Faculty members also play an important role in assisting with the development and preservation of system-wide and directorate-specific policies, and are active participants in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.Requirements Minimum Requirements : 3 years of Teaching Experience3 years of Industrial Experience The successful candidate is expected to engage in applied research relevant to their division’s interests and the national innovation agenda and its targeted priority sectors.Faculty Role Use a practical, applied approach to teach courses in clinical and classroom settings aligned with course and program goals to meet students' and the community's needs and aspirations.Develop and utilize educational technology resources to ensure effective and innovative instruction methodologies.Implement strategies to ensure effective student learning within a second-language environment, providing continuous feedback through assessments like tests, projects, and assignments.Adopt a student-centered approach, offering individual assistance and addressing student issues promptly by liaising with students, supervisors, and other College personnel as needed.Support and mentor students during internships and work placements.Maintain regular office hours to advise and assist students.Monitor student progress and take actions to support their success.Administrative Role Prepare teaching assignments in advance and present material appropriately to support student success and the Learning by Doing concept.Develop course curriculum under management guidance, ensuring relevance and compliance with accreditation and international standards.Provide input for program and course reviews, making recommendations based on consultations with students, colleagues, and external agencies.Contribute to the development of HCT by monitoring programs, identifying improvement areas, and participating in policy implementation and community activities.Revise curricula as needed based on faculty assessments or industry advice.Respect and incorporate the customs and cultures of HCT students and employees.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Job Description Salary and Benefits Salary & benefits details will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
