The Position The Company is currently expanding its technical teams and is looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong backend knowledge and experience to strengthen its digital product development capabilities. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about backend software architecture, efficient data processing, and delivering robust APIs for web and B2B applications. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, a strong background in backend development using Python and/or Java, and a drive for creating high-quality, maintainable, and scalable systems. Experience working with cloud architectures and an affinity for using AI-powered development tools will be highly valued. Jobs to be done Lead the design, development, and optimization ofrobust ,scalable , andsecurebackend services in a self-sufficient cross-functional team. Implement microservices and APIs using Pythonand/or Java , ensuringbest practicesinsecurity ,performance , andmaintainability . Work closely with AI engineering teams to productize machine learning models as backend services. Integrate backend services with frontend applications through RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures. Define and enforce backendcoding standardsanddevelopment best practices . Mentorjunior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and support. Collaborate with Dev Opsteams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies. Employ Dev Sec Opspractices and contribute to continuous security improvements. Leverage AI-assisted tools(code generation, test creation, static analysis) to enhance productivity and quality. Actively participate in Agileceremonies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with internalquality standardsand externalregulatory requirements(e.g., data protection regulations). Documentsolutions clearly and contribute to the team’s knowledge base (Confluence, internal wikis). Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higherin Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years ofprofessional experienceas a Backend Engineeror Software Developeror Software Architect . Advancedproficiency in Python(preferred) and/or Java . Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs . Experience withmicroservices architecture ,containerization(Docker), andorchestration(Kubernetes). Solid understanding ofcloud-native development , ideally with exposure to Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or Azure. Experience withrelational and non-relational databases(e.g., Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, Cloud Spanner). Proficient in usingversion control systems(Git Hub, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops). Strongunit testing and integration testingpractices. Understanding of CI/CD pipelinesand deployment automation. Familiarity with Agile methodologiesand project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards). Willingness to adopt AI-powered development tools and workflows . Preferred qualifications: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. Experience in building Saa S/Paa S platforms, especially multitenant and multi-region architectures. Familiarity with Big Data architectures and streaming data processing. Exposure to MLOps practices and AI/ML model deployment. Solid foundation in software architecture design principles (e.g., SOLID, Clean Architecture). Experience working with serverless technologies (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run). Dev Sec Ops or Security-first design mindset. Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Developer, Azure Developer Associate). Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe, or similar). English proficiency certificate (C1 or C2). Years of experience Senior professionals (+8 years of relevant experience) will be considered in the selection process. 5-8 years experienced profiles could be considered if they are outstanding.
