We are recognized by ENR as one of the top environmental engineering firms, known for technical leadership, extensive experience, and excellent client service.We value our employees and offer competitive pay, benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.Learn more at: http: //www.geosyntec.com/careers/.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan, supervise, and execute surveying operations for marine construction projects.Select, calibrate, and operate surveying equipment suitable for hydrographic surveys, nautical charts, and mapping.Manage survey vessels, software, and hardware at the project site.Generate accurate reports, manage data, and address technical queries related to marine construction activities such as dredging, coastal work, pipelines, and environmental monitoring.Gather seabed and water movement data, including delineation of high and low water lines.Create contour maps and graphical models.Validate, convert, and visualize data using Auto CAD and other modeling software.Ensure proper documentation consistent with company policies.Collaborate with project personnel, including contractors, engineers, and clients, to promote effective communication and teamwork.Prepare final reports, work plans, safety documents, and report appendices.Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and work plans to determine appropriate actions.Handle field change requests and change orders in coordination with project management.Plan and manage on-site staffing to meet project deadlines.Address on-site issues promptly and effectively.Ensure compliance with project specifications and health and safety policies.Oversee health and safety activities of subcontractors and surveyors, including conducting safety meetings.Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and report potential overruns.Perform additional duties as required.Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in surveying, construction management, civil engineering, geology, marine sciences, or related fields (required).Advanced degrees are preferred.Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training (required).Strong oral and technical writing skills (required).Experience with marine, structural, and geotechnical survey equipment such as total stations, echo sounders, multibeam systems (preferred).Proficiency with design and modeling software like Auto CAD, Qinsy, Terramodel, Hypack, and Wintopo (required). #J-18808-Ljbffr
