This position involves leading the preparation of detailed proposals and estimates that align with client needs and organization goals, often acting as a bridge between sales, technical teams, and clients. The role requires a blend of technical know-how, strategic business insight, and excellent communication skills to ensure that proposals are not only competitive but also feasible and profitable. As an integral part of the sales cycle, the Proposal & Estimation Manager is responsible for the accurate assessment of project costs and timelines, rigorous analysis of risk factors, and the crafting of compelling narratives that highlight the organization's capabilities and benefits. This role demands proficiency in managing multiple proposals simultaneously, meeting stringent deadlines, and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. The Proposal & Estimation Manager contributes significantly to the growth of the company by increasing the win probability of high-value projects.Responsibilities Develop and manage comprehensive proposal and estimation strategies for various projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather essential data and insights for proposals.Ensure that all proposals align with client specifications and company objectives.Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify opportunities for cost optimizations.Prepare detailed cost and schedule estimates to support proposals.Review RFPs (Request for Proposal) and clarify bid conditions and associated terms.Maintain a database of historical data to improve proposal development accuracy.Provide detailed analysis of competitors and market trends affecting project bids.Coordinate and manage proposal submission timelines and deliverables.Present proposals to senior management and adjust based on feedback received.Follow up on submitted proposals and provide updates on client feedback or negotiations.Train and mentor junior team members in proposal and estimation methodologies.Requirements Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required.Proven experience in the proposal and estimation process, preferably in a managerial role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documentation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and negotiation.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.Proficiency in proposal management software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.An eye for detail to ensure all proposals and estimates are precise and comprehensive.Company Industry Recruitment Placement Firm Executive Search Department / Functional Area Keywords Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
