Job Description - Assistant Chief Engineer (HOT0BM55)Job Number: HOT0BM55Work Location: Double Tree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, Marjan Island Blvd., Ras Al Khaimah 1468An Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. This includes performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects.What will I be doing?As an Assistant Chief Engineer, your responsibilities include: Managing maintenance issues within the hotel Performing daily checks around the hotel Conducting lift emergency release procedures as required Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment Building good relationships with internal and external customers Maintaining hotel fixtures and fittings in safe condition and addressing unsafe situations Developing and implementing emergency programs Managing energy conservation programs Coordinating renovation bidding, defining project scope and costs, overseeing contractors Performing special projects and other responsibilities as assigned Ensuring the health and safety of the hotel Conducting monthly safety inspections and employee training What are we looking for?The ideal candidate should: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (UAE Attested)Have advanced knowledge of building management/engineering Be committed to high-quality customer service Be flexible and able to respond to various work situations Work well under pressure and independently Have previous management experience Additional advantageous capabilities include: First Aid certification Experience in the hospitality industry Vocational training in engineering or similar fields What will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is a leading global hospitality company offering luxurious hotels, resorts, and accommodations worldwide.
