The Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance will play a key role in managing financial planning, reporting, and compliance for Retail business. This role involves overseeing revenue tracking, payment gateway reconciliation, cost control, and taxation, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger, and expense tracking.Prepare monthly P&L, MIS, and management reports.Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial results.Reporting on E commerce performance, Aggregator reconciliation, Payment Gateway reconciliation .Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.Budgeting & Forecasting Manage budgeting cycles, forecasts, and planning processes.Develop and monitor store-level and department-wise targets.Support long-term business planning and feasibility studies.Cost Control & Process Optimization Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost control initiatives.Monitor direct and indirect cost trends, especially in store operations and supply chain.Compliance & Audit Support Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, or local regulations).Assist in internal & external audits by preparing the necessary documentation.Ensure timely tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and compliance with local tax laws.Operational Finance Oversee Inventory controls, Stock movement process in system.Coordinate with Various BU’s for KPIs and reporting.Supervise a team of store accountants and finance staff.Implement and manage incentive-based schemes linked to performance.Implement automation for financial reporting and transaction tracking Desired Candidate Profile Required Qualifications & Skills: Must be a Qualified CAMinimum 3–7 years of progressive experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting.Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred).Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
