We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description: Risk Engineer Parsons is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Risk Engineer to support our risk management functions.This role involves supporting bid teams in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a good understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to manage risk reviews across multiple tenders simultaneously.Key Responsibilities: Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments for tenders and business activities.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive risk evaluation.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of risk assessments.Continuous Improvement: Share knowledge gained during risk assessments to improve team capabilities.Recommend and implement improvements to risk and ethics management processes.Engage in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.Training: Provide guidance on risk management principles, techniques, and best practices.Promote a risk-aware culture within the project team and stakeholders.Support and Other Responsibilities: Assist with additional tasks to support the overall risk management function.Education & Specific Role Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.Additional qualifications in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related fields are desirable.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management or related areas.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk management software.Risk management certification is a plus.Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and investigative skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in GCC region is desirable.High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Organizational and interpersonal skills.Good business judgment.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Willingness to travel regionally.Parsons values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.We invest in our employees’ wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities.
