Backend Developer (C#, SQL, Database)

Vacancy1 Vacancy Job Description About the Role We are hiring a Backend Developer with a strong foundation in C# (.NET) and MS SQL Server to help drive the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. In this hybrid role, you will take ownership of core backend development and relational database architecture—ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of data across applications and services.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET technologies.Implement RESTful APIs and backend services to support web and mobile platforms.Write clean, testable, and scalable code following industry best practices and design patterns.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD deployment processes.Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.Database Development (MS SQL): Design and maintain scalable, high-performance relational database structures (MS SQL 2016/2019/2022).Develop and optimize complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and triggers.Analyze and tune existing queries to support high-load transactional and reporting systems.Model databases to support data analytics, reporting, and automation needs.Implement indexing strategies, backup policies, disaster recovery plans, and performance tuning.Automate regular database tasks using scripting tools (Power Shell, Bash).Ensure database security, user access controls, and compliance protocols are enforced.Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using C# (.NET Core / Framework).Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.In-depth knowledge of relational database principles, query optimization, and performance tuning.Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, etc.).Comfortable with scripting and automation using Power Shell, Bash, or similar tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and self-management skills.Must-Have Technologies C# / .NET Core / .NET Framework MS SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)Cloud (Azure or AWS) or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Good to Have Knowledge of No SQL databases or hybrid data storage solutions (e.g., Mongo DB, Azure Data Lake).Exposure to Dev Ops practices or infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).Why Join Us?Play a pivotal role in designing and shaping the core backend architecture of high-impact applications.Work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment where learning is constant.Enjoy competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and a healthy work-life balance.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
