QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual Automation)Location: Remote (Dubai)Job Type: Contract (6 months) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Engineer (Manual Automation) with strong experience in Selenium Java and JIRA to join our team on a 6 month remote contract. Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality software by designing and executing robust test plans across web and API layers. Key Responsibilities: Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java Execute functional regression integration and system testing (both manual and automated)Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases and test plans Log track and manage defects using JIRA working closely with development to ensure timely resolution Develop and execute API test scripts using tools like Postman or REST Assured Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins Git Hub Actions)Contribute to test documentation including test strategy and test summary reports Actively participate in daily stand-ups sprint planning and review meetings Required Skills & Experience: 6 years of hands-on experience in QA with a strong emphasis on automation using Selenium and Java and Manual testing as well Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases Solid experience with JIRA for defect tracking and Agile project management Experience in test automation frameworks like Test NG JUnit or similar Familiarity with Git for version control and CI/CD integration Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC processes Excellent communication and analytical skills Nice to Have: Experience with API testing frameworks (e.g. REST Assured)Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber Knowledge of SQL for data validation Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g. JMeter) #J-18808-Ljbffr
