Additionally, we manage iconic districts, including Business Bay, Dubai Land Residences, Jaddaf Waterfront, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Harbour, and more.About the Role: To manage the Accounts Payable function for Dubai Holding Community Management, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and related activities including insurance verification. This role will be responsible for maintaining strong vendor relationships, adhering to internal controls, and contributing to efficient financial operations.The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Insurance Evaluate insurance applications, assess risks, and recommend coverage options based on company needs and regulatory standards.Assist in reviewing and renewing policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurers and brokers.Provide advice on insurance products, coverage, and risk mitigation strategies Claims Processing: Manage end-to-end claims, verify eligibility, resolve discrepancies, and maintain a claims tracker.Liaise with insurers and underwriters to expedite high-value claims.Accounts Payable Processing: Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable, from invoice receipt to payment disbursement.Ensure accurate coding, documentation, and approval of vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and DOA (Delegation of Authority).Manage the timely processing of payments via various methods (e.g., bank transfers, cheques).Handle vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.Ensure vendor master data is accurate and up-to-date.Assist with vendor onboarding and compliance processes.Negotiate payment terms where appropriate and escalate any critical vendor issues.Prepare payment proposals and schedules.Reconcile accounts payable ledger balances with vendor statements on a regular basis.Investigate and resolve any reconciliation differences.Ensure accurate processing of employee expense claims.Month-End Closing: Prepare and post accruals and provisions related to accounts payable.Assist with the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of AP tasks.Provide necessary reports and analysis related to accounts payable.Internal Controls & Compliance: Adhere to and enforce internal controls related to the accounts payable function.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Participate in the implementation of new systems or process changes.Contribute to a work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.Team Support & Supervision: Supervise Accounts Payable Accountants.Provide guidance and support to team members.Assist with workload distribution and ensure team objectives are met.About you: The ideal candidate will have the below qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.5-8 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within the real estate, property management, or community management sectors in Dubai.Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and best practices.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials) is highly desirable.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with local accounting practices and regulations in Dubai and the UAE is an advantage.About Benefits: At Dubai Holding, we're committed to nurturing the success and well-being of our colleagues.
