Job Description Position: Global 5000 - Captain (Holding a valid GCAA License)Job Purpose Directly responsible for customer comfort while ensuring overall safety to conduct all the flights to which they are assigned.Responsibilities: Be responsible for the safe operation of the airplane and safety of its occupants and cargo during flight time.Ensure that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of safety and emergency equipment.Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as per the Operations Manual.Verify weather conditions for the proposed operating area and flight duration to ensure safe operation.Decide on accepting an aircraft with unserviceability allowed by the CDL or MEL.Ensure the aircraft and emergency equipment are serviceable and ready for use.Supervise refueling in the absence of a qualified engineer, paying attention to fuel grade, amount, water checks, fire safety, and security of fuel caps.Ensure aircraft mass and balance are within limits for the operating conditions.Ensure crew are secured in their seats before takeoff and landing.Ensure passengers are properly secured during taxi, takeoff, landing, and turbulent conditions.Conduct preflight inspections.Carry valid documents and manuals, and produce them upon request.Enforce no-smoking policies in all areas, including cargo compartments.Maintain effective communication with other departments.Ensure data protection, security, and retention policies are followed.Develop and improve risk management practices.Skills: FAA/JAA license holder or GCAA qualification preferred.TRI/TRE preferred.Valid type rating on Aircraft Type.5000 hours total flying time.2500 hours in multi-jet aircraft.Minimum 1000 hours as PIC on Type or equivalent.Familiarity with the Company Operations Manual.Diploma in Aviation or Business Administration preferred; university degree is a plus.Accident and violation-free flying record.Completed Command Course successfully.Knowledge of UAE and international aviation laws and practices.VIP flight experience.Strong communication, planning, organizational, and policy development skills.Meticulous attention to detail and organizational commitment.Required Experience: Executive level experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
