To support this growth, they are searching for a passionate and capable fleet manager to join their team. As a Marine Superintendent you will be primarily in charge of managing and operating the existing fleet of owned vessels. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective management of the fleet vessels. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting the HSE Manager in overseeing marine voyages, maintaining health, safety and security standards on board vessels and carrying out internal audits as directed by the QA manager. - Vetting of offshore vessels and assisting the Technical Superintendents with navigational matters and inspections. - Ensuring the safety of on-shore cargo operations and liaising with charterers, owners and P&I. - Conducting Port State Control (PSC) and Flag state inspections to ensure that all vessels are in line with port and flag state requirements. - Preparing crew budgets and ensuring that all crew on board vessels are certified and qualified according client requirements. The ideal candidate should be a Class 1 Master Mariner on a foreign going vessel with at least 5 years of shore experience working in the offshore ship management sector. Since you will be in a highly operational and supervisory role, you should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. I am looking for a dedicated superintendent with a high level of technical expertise and a hands-on approach to problem solving. You should preferably have a degree in Marine Engineering and must be familiar with ISM/ISPS/TMSA.
