Control System Engineer - Petrochemical (Singapore) I am presently looking for a Control System Engineer with a high level of experience in working in Petrochemical Refineries. I am looking for a candidate with Maintenance and Recommendation experience for this position. This position is on behalf of a large oil and gas company and this is the opportunity to begin a long standing career which will include an excellent staff salary and package. Some of the responsibilities include: -Provide maintenance support for process control systems -Manage the systems contractors for base plant support, as well as maintain and upgrade the process control system to the latest recommended option -Analyze system failures and make recommendations -Lead and support systems for the relevant projects -Manage the security and controls of the process control systems -Interface with various plant personnel Requirements: -A good Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science -3 to 5 years' experience in managing the Distributed Control System (DCS) in the petrochemical industry, or within a refinery is preferred -Strong knowledge in a server/client environment, Microsoft technology (Windows Server Network infrastructure, SQL,), Local Area Network (LAN) and Cisco routers and switches -A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills This opportunity will offer a long term career as a permanent staff employee which in the current climate is an excellent thing.
