Role Responsibilities * Ensure that key KNPC relationships are maintained at all levels within the project. * Create and sustain a good team spirit within the AMEC project team and KNPC. * Interface with KNPC and the Contractor for formal and informal reviews on technical matters with respect to engineering work. * Provide technical guidance and direction as may be requested from time to time. * Monitor and review design documentation originated by the EPC Contractor. * Liaise directly with KNPC and the EPC Contractor for review / approval of critical drawings and documents. * Review and monitor the EPC Contractor's and/or their Subcontractor's engineering/design activities. * Participate in key KNPC reviews and meetings as required. * Participate in Monthly Progress reviews with the EPC Contractor. * Review and monitor the critical engineering and design activities performed by the EPC Contractor. * Coordinate and resolve filed engineering queries interfacing with construction and completions. * Monitor, appraise and report to KNPC on quality and safety aspects of engineering, design and construction performed by the EPC Contractor and their Subcontractors / Vendors. Role Requirements * Western. * B.Sc. (Eng). * Minimum twelve years post graduate experience. * Minimum eight years experience in the oil & gas, refining and petrochemical industries. * Minimum three years of experience with reputed Consultants in the same/similar position is desirable. * Willingness to be assigned to the EPC Contractor's home office for 8 months (extended up to one year) and then Kuwait for the balance of the 45 month project. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Functional Management, Leadership and teambuilding skills. * Good HSE awareness and commitment. * Prior PMC experience an asset. * Prior Middle East experience an asset.
