Role Summary:
Branch Office Manager is responsible for overseeing functioning of the office by supervising counselling team, providing expert knowledge on complicated matters, and ensuring smooth and effective recruitment/application process as well as ensuring efficient functioning of the office by organising people, information, facilities and other resources. The role incorporates working towards agreed targets, instruction of its students and the growth and development of the centre on a commercial scale.
General Conditions:
Working hours: Sunday to Thursday 9am to 6pm, Saturday on a rotation basis
Location: 5th Compound, New Cairo, Egypt
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and coordinate implementation of the GSUK strategy and policy relating to the admission functions from initial inquiry to application and enrolment, ensuring that it meets the needs of prospective students and partner universities;
Share expertise and guidance for counselling team in complicated student cases; the post is required to counsel their own students in professional manner and act as a role model to other colleagues;
Perform regular trainings for the counselling team as per guidance of the CEO, Regional Manager (Egypt) and HR Department;
Work harmoniously with the Conversion, Sales, HR and Finance and GSUK executive team to contribute to the analysis of student recruitment number and translate the recruitment/conversion strategy into integrated deliverable operational plans and to ensure smooth operations;
Achieve targets for the assigned market, in partnership with the conversion team; ensuring the team's regular CRM updated and follow ups;
Evaluate performance of the team against agreed targets and timely report the progress; the post must lead by example and set the challenging bar of achievements; encourage independence in the work of colleagues; motivate them to ensure best performance;
Create, sustain relations and develop the Office;
Ensure that the office is opened and locked and that it is fit for its purpose; welcome guests and universities;
Lead the counselling team; ensure the phone calls are answered, advocate the lead calling and deal with parents if issues
Allocate walk in by rota and ensure walk in are tagged and submitted in CRM;
Plan and implement recruitment activities and events, such as regular visits to local High Schools, delivering presentations, workshops, seminars for prospective students;
Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems;
Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients;
Ordering stationery, furniture, IT equipment; ensure the office is kept tidy and that IT and equipment is working;
Assist the organisation's HR function by keeping personnel records up to date; liaise with HR Officer to ensure annual leaves of colleagues are balanced and that the team punctual; organise lunch breaks;
Support Regional Manager (Egypt) by providing the bills and receipts of the Office as well as with organising weekend rotations;
Ensure head office corporate rules are being followed;
Represent Global Study UK at all types of recruitment event such as Fairs, Exhibitions, School Tours.
In addition to the above listed responsibilities the post holder will be required to perform duties of the Education Counsellor.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or above from an accredited institution of higher education
- Proven track record of relevant work experience; customer service or sales experience is beneficial
- Expert knowledge of UK HE system
- Awareness of UK immigration regulations, specifically Tier 4 Visa
- 5 years sales experience
- 3 yrs management experience
- Gulf experience preferable
- IELTS or equivalent
- Previous travels to US or UK or Europe would be preferable
Other requirements:
To work at flexible schedule to meet customer's needs:
- to work at weekends during Fairs/School Tours and other campaigns (approx. 8 Fairs/School Tours - 10 weekends a year)
- to work extra hours if requested
- to be accessible at weekends via phone/e-mail
To represent GSUK at Universities' Conferences
To travel to MENA region if requested
