Our client is the first and only fully equipped Pilates Studio in Accra, Ghana offering daily classes to teens, men and women. They are seeking to recruit an "Senior Pilates Instructor" to be based in Accra.

Job Requirements:

Teach private, small group Reformer and Mat classes

Liaise with the Front Desk in daily scheduling

Provide technical support to the Front Desk to respond to client inquiries

Ensure daily upkeep and weekly maintenance of equipment

Provide Pilates instruction to include demo classes, group apparatus classes, private and semiprivate training as scheduled by management and pursuant to Studios standards

Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, maintain the equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience

Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio management

Must arrive at a set time prior to the beginning of each scheduled class or private/semiprivate session

Fully qualified instructor including Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel as well as training in rehabilitation and working with special populations

Experience teaching Rehab clients, athletes, prenatal/postnatal and Senior citizens

Up to date CPR training or willingness to obtain

Demonstrated anatomical knowledge and focus on safety

Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class

Professional and effective communication skills

Proven public speaking skills

In depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates and what sets P4 Pilates Studio apart from other Pilates studios

Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates

Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education training and seminars

Punctual and Reliable

Ability to implement and streamline new procedures in a diverse environment

Ability to work harmoniously with the public, management, and instructors
