We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Advisor who will be responsible for providing on-site technical leadership and expertise to specific CGG GeoSoftware customers, whilst working with the sales team to drive software uptake and increase software sales



Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical guidance to clients applying Jason technology to projects; ranging from general petrophysical support to software-specific assistance.



You will supervise, assist and back-up users in the undertaking of reservoir characterization projects, ensuring that technical project objectives are met and that the Jason software is contributing to the success of said projects.



The preparation of presentations on technical topics appropriate to your local user will be paramount to the role, in addition to ensuring that suitable workflows and QA are applied to projects and adherence with client contract requirements.



The incumbent will also be expected to deliver on-site classroom training and make recommendations for new training courses / material that meet customer needs as well as increase the software user base and utilization with one-to-one and group demo sessions / workshops.









Required Education & Experience:





The ideal candidate will have a strong Petrophysical background in addition to an MSc or higher degree qualification in petroleum engineering, geology, reservoir engineering or geophysics.
