KBR employs approximately 34000 people worldwide (including our joint ventures) with customers in more than 80 countries and operations in 40 countries Job Requirement KBR is looking for a Lead Environment Engineer (Social Occupational Health) with LNG experience to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.Experience required: Minimum overall 20 years of oil & gas experience.Minimum 8 years of experience in a lead role.Experience within EPC phase of LNG projects.Lead on the development of Environmental Social Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA).Participate in development of ADNOC HSE Standards and AGES requirements. Execute Plant Operations and Project Divisions work and monitor compliance to ADNOC HSE requirements.Participate in site-based assurance activities to verify occupational health and social impact control measures are in place and functioning as expected.Provide Occupational Health and Social Impact input to technical design and procedural proposals to ensure that designs, drawings, and modifications to plant equipment installations can be conducted in accordance with ADNOC & International Standards.Participate in audits according to plan & verify implementation of assurance programs.Conduct hazard identification and risk management practices in all operating activities.Facilitate a two-way communication culture where employees can openly report HSE non-compliances.Support ongoing Health, Safety, and Environment programs aimed at achieving and maintaining agreed HSEMS expectations and objectives.Be well conversant with establishing the ADNOC One ERP.Ensure tools and equipment used at site meet ADNOC HSE requirements.Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project HSE Plans and KPIs.Support emergency preparedness: awareness, equipment, systems, etc., as per emergency plans.Support the emergency fire and rescue and on-scene team in their activities to overcome incidents.Keep abreast of developments and changes in government administrative regulations.Support ADNOC leadership to drive a positive safety culture at the site.Participate in leadership HSE walkthroughs of the site.Safeguard own health and safety as well as that of fellow employees by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment, and complying with applicable HSE requirements.Take action to intervene and stop any unsafe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements if witnessed, and report the incident regardless of your position or that of the transgressor.Must have at least 15 years of experience working in onshore and offshore projects.Bachelor's degree in engineering is a must.Interested and suitable candidates please apply for the role.
