Want to be part of an ever-growing third-party sellers team in the UAE marketplace? We are seeking a Senior Category Merchant Manager (CMM) to shape the future of our third-party marketplace.The CMM role offers a unique opportunity to own a sizable portion of a category P&L while also driving large-scale, high-visibility projects across different Amazon teams. The successful candidate will be a strong project manager with deep analytical abilities, ideally excelling in ownership, bias for action, deep dive analysis, invent and simplify, and delivering results. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail, high flexibility, and the ability to prioritize.The experience gained in the CMM role will prepare a candidate to rotate into other roles across Amazon, paving the way to future leadership positions. The Category Merchant Manager will have several key responsibilities within the third-party Marketplace side of the business, including: Category strategy and ownership: Collaborate with Category Leadership and account managers on planning and business strategy, drive a best-in-class customer experience, and maximize selling partners' selection and sales growth through analysis and initiatives.Maintain category reviews: Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews by establishing tracking mechanisms to monitor progress and recommend actions for growth or recovery.Define growth opportunities: Identify key business opportunities by spotting popular brands, trends, and pricing, and guide sellers towards growth plans through data analysis and deep dives.Seller management: Identify and lead partnerships with selling partners, manage large sellers, and enhance the overall seller experience with better self-service and reporting resources.Technical project management: Automate and scale category growth through new selection, product listing quality, and stock management. Collaborate with other teams to drive automation and scalability.Category/3P project management: Work within the marketplace organization to establish and execute third-party projects and programs.Required skills and qualifications include: Highly analytical Proficient with SQLPrevious success in individual contributor roles Effective influence skills Experience in planning with a good understanding of P&LEffective writing skills Comfortable presenting to and working with senior stakeholders across multiple teams Ability to translate data and insights into practical workstreams Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
