This is not simply our job; it’s our passion.About The Role Assist the Team Leader with day-to-day operations and the forecasting of future maintenance and operational works of the Water Park Engineering department, including Water Treatment Plants (swimming pools, water park pools and water features). Assist with implementing measures to minimize disruption to the hotel’s operations and ensure the highest standards are maintained.Key Duties And Responsibilities Assist with the formulation of staff rosters, staffing, assignments and safety for all staff required to operate and maintain all Water Park Rides, Pools & Water Features. Utilize all necessary staff for the maintenance and continuous operation of all Water Park Rides, Pools & Water Features. Contribute to decisions on daily operation aspects of the Water Park Rides, Pools & Water Features. Oversee the treatment, distribution, and daily operations of Water Park Rides, Pools & Water Features. Supervise teams of operators, inspectors, and other crew members. Ensure that periodic testing and analysis are conducted to ensure the right quality water supply for different applications. Assist with plant operation and maintenance policies and procedures. Ensure that the plant and its operators comply with the requisite health standards by regularly testing the water supply and keeping meticulous records. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all equipment is in proper working order and condition. Have regular discussions with your team and ensure your TL/Asst Manager is kept informed of any relevant happenings.About You The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years in the maintenance of water park rides, pools, and water features. They should possess a fundamental knowledge of water treatment and its associated terminology, as well as experience in the Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing trades, with a commitment to broadening their expertise in other areas. A Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certificate (NSPF) or the ability to obtain it within the first six months of employment is required.
