More information is available on our website or Linked In.Learn more about our career opportunities at: As a Senior Design Manager, you will lead and manage the design process throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, design consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and client expectations are met.You will assist the Programme Director/Design Director or Senior Project Manager in delivering scope of works aligned with Atkins Ralis and client expectations.Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following areas and duties (subject to project-specific requirements): Ensure adherence to Atkins Ralis processes, forms, and deliverables, as well as client processes when applicable.Assist in developing scope of services for Lead Design Consultant (LDC).Manage and assist the client with the procurement of Design Consultants.Develop and implement the Design Management Plan (DMP).Create a design responsibility matrix to clarify roles among Client, PMC, Design Consultants, and stakeholders.Assist in developing the Project Quality Plan.Manage the LDC to deliver quality outputs on time, within budget, and to client expectations.Oversee activities of Design Consultants throughout the project cycle, functioning as the management lead for project design teams.Facilitate effective communication and act as the primary contact between the client and LDC team.Manage the design process, including workshops, stage gate submissions, and approvals.Review consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with project brief and client requirements.Assist with stakeholder invitations, agendas, minutes, and presentations during the project.Coordinate with document controllers to maintain project information in PMC Share Point.Assist in change management, including review and recommendation for client approval.Support value management during design stages.Identify and manage risks affecting schedule, budget, quality, and compliance.Monitor and manage the design schedule with project controls and LDC.Ensure all LDC activities comply with BIM requirements, with support from the BIM manager.Oversee the implementation of sustainability requirements, supported by LEED expertise.Develop statutory approval workflows aligned with client and authority requirements.Oversee preparation of technical documentation for construction tenders.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications: 15+ years of experience as a design manager on hospitality projects.Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.LEED experience is advantageous.Previous regional experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.Ability to work in a team and be client-facing.Active leadership style.Why choose Atkins Ralis Tax-free salary Life insurance coverage Comprehensive medical insurance Paid annual leave Company gratuity scheme Discretionary bonus Annual flight contribution Relocation assistance Transport and housing allowances Employee wellbeing program including access to specialists in finance, legal matters, family care, health, fitness, and nutrition.Our commitment: We care for our people and are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and build a future.Atkins Ralis is committed to diversity and equal opportunity, ensuring fair treatment regardless of gender, marital status, age, race, ethnicity, religion, or disability.
