The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in managing project control functions specifically in design and construction supervision consultancy projects with a reputable consultancy organization.The Project Control Specialist will support Project Managers in budget estimation, forecasting, cost control, invoicing, reporting, and performance monitoring. The role requires strong proficiency in Deltek ERP, Excel-based forecasting tools, and a sound understanding of revenue, cost structures, accruals, and project financial dashboards.Key Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers in the preparation of initial budget estimates and regular cost forecasts.Monitor project performance and prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis.Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition, cost capture, and overhead allocation as per company policies and project contracts.Budget setup Cost tracking Forecasting Resource planning Invoicing and accruals Develop and maintain Excel-based pricing and forecasting models; ensure data integrity and usability for planning purposes.Prepare dashboards and performance KPIs for ongoing projects to support management decision-making.Track and process monthly accruals, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal guidelines.Collaborate with finance and commercial teams for invoice preparation, submission, and collections follow-up.Support proposal teams with cost inputs, resource loading, and price structuring when required.Maintain comprehensive records of all financial and cost data across the project lifecycle.Job Requirements Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.Certification in Project Controls or Financial Management (e.g., PMP, CCP, or equivalent) is a plus.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project control roles within the engineering consultancy sector.Proven experience working on design and construction supervision consultancy projects.Strong familiarity with UAE consultancy project structures and financial practices.Skills: Proficiency in Deltek ERP.Understanding of: Revenue recognition (fixed fee, % completion, T&M)Direct/indirect cost structures Overhead allocations Accrual techniques and project closing Experience preparing visual reports using Excel dashboards or BI tools.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.Effective communication and reporting skills.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.Team player who collaborates effectively with project and finance teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
