The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting specific to security guarding (manpower services), equipment procurement, uniforms, and transportation assets. This role is crucial in optimizing cost structures, improving profitability, and providing strategic insights to management.The Cost Accountant will work closely with both the Procurement Department and Operations Team to ensure accurate costing of manpower deployments, equipment utilization, uniform distribution, and transportation costs. Additionally, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for updating cost cards for quotation purposes, ensuring that all service proposals are accurately priced and reflect the latest cost structures.Key Responsibilities: 1. Cost Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed cost analysis for manpower services, equipment procurement, uniforms, and transport vehicles.Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying variances and providing justifications.Develop cost models for new contracts, projects, and site deployments.Monitor and track direct and indirect costs associated with security deployments, equipment leasing, and vehicle usage.Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual cost summaries, including variance analysis and cost optimization suggestions.2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, cost forecasts, and long-term financial plans specific to manpower and procurement services.Collaborate with the Procurement Department to estimate costs for equipment, uniforms, and transport requirements.Support Finance in adjusting budget allocations based on cost behavior, deployment expansions, and market changes.Identify cost-saving opportunities in manpower planning, bulk uniform orders, and vehicle lease negotiations.3. Cost Card Updates for Quotation Purposes: Regularly update cost cards with the latest rates for manpower, equipment, uniforms, and transportation.Ensure that quotation templates are accurate, competitive, and reflect current market prices.Work closely with the Sales Team to provide cost estimates for proposals and client bids.Validate that all cost components (salaries, transportation, equipment lease, and uniforms) are factored correctly into quotations.Perform cost simulations to predict the impact of changes in rates or quantities on overall project costs.4. Month-End and Year-End Close: Reconcile cost accounts for manpower services and procurement-related acquisitions.Prepare Cost of Services Rendered (COSR) reports and evaluate gross margins for manpower and asset utilization.Conduct variance analysis and report discrepancies to management, including over- or under-deployment costs.Assist with internal and external audits by providing detailed cost data and reconciliations.5.
