Location Abu Dhabi Duration: Full time - Freelance On-going You may be required to relocate to Abu Dhabi after the initial 3 months as we don’t know how long it will be for. Ideal Candidate Overview The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Drupal and Acquia CMS, PHP, and modern web technologies. This position involves managing website updates, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure web solutions. Personal Specification Minimum Experience Educational Qualifications Technical Knowledge Proven hands‑on experience with Acquia and Drupal CMS. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Strong understanding of web architecture, integration, and application design. Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills. Working knowledge of AI tools is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years experience Hands‑on experience as a .NET Developer Proficiency in building web‑based applications Using ASP.NET MVC, Kentico, Site Core, C#, Entity framework, and ADO.Net. Skills and Abilities Language Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills – spoken and written Key Responsibilities Design, customize, and implement website solutions that meet business requirements. Manage website updates, including ticket‑based enhancements and maintenance. Develop and maintain templates, modules, and database schemas. Integrate and test application components, ensuring smooth functionality and performance. Conduct unit testing and analyze database/application performance. Support UAT testing and assist in technical evaluations. Collaborate with internal teams, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. Utilize Microsoft Azure and apply web architectures including Microservices and Monoliths. Work within Agile and Dev Ops methodologies. Perform basic image editing and resizing tasks when needed.
