KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide strategic leadership and academic direction to all departments and programs within the College of Medicine.Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs.Promote excellence in teaching, research, and clinical training in alignment with accreditation and regulatory requirements (e.g., CAA, WFME, ACGME-I).Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships with healthcare institutions, research centers, and regulatory bodies.Attract, retain, and develop high-caliber faculty and staff through effective talent management.Ensure compliance with academic standards, ethical practices, and institutional policies.Drive innovation in medical education, curriculum design, assessment, and simulation-based learning.Support accreditation processes, quality assurance initiatives, and institutional benchmarking.Act as a key liaison with university leadership, healthcare partners, and international collaborators.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCEMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with Ph D or equivalent in a Medical field.Minimum 10–15 years of academic and clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Associate Dean or Dean).Proven track record of academic leadership, curriculum development, and scholarly achievements.In-depth knowledge of global trends and best practices in medical education.Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., LCME, WFME, CAA) and quality management in higher education.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrategic leadership and institutional planning Academic and clinical governance Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills Change management and organizational development Evidence of scholarly publications and grant acquisition Collaborative leadership style with high emotional intelligence Familiarity with digital transformation in medical education (e.g., e-learning, simulation, AI in healthcare) #J-18808-Ljbffr
