DEPARTMENT PROFILE::
Parking Services will provide a safe and secure environment for all Sidra Medical and Research Center facilities. The Parking Services will ensure safe and secure ingress and egress routes on or adjacent to the medical center campus, ensuring the safety and security of all we serve.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor Parking leads and directs the protection and parking team ensuring they operate in accordance with Sidra policies and procedures.  He/She supervises daily staff activities related to pre-planned protection, parking patrols and security parking requirements. The Supervisor guides visitors, employees, guests, vendors and general public on matters relating to way finding, security, general hospital information, traffic issues and parking offences, ensuring a polite and courteous service at all times.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Supervises staff schedule and activities so that the pre-planned protection and parking patrols operate effectively and efficiently.
Ensures that barrier usage and space allocation is utilized to maximize traffic flow.
Oversees daily team activities; provides advice, training as required, feedback on performance to ensure meeting highest customer service standard.
Ensures the team assist and advise all visitors to Sidra regarding way finding, allocated parking, signage and traffic management in a professional and customer focused manner.
Coordinates all emergency and non-emergency parking and protection activities, ensuring the team respond and perform in a prompt and professional manner.
Effectively resolves and minimizes any negative interactions with the public.
Conducts regular inspection and audit of assigned equipment, road condition, signage, parking areas as necessary and for efficient operation of department.
Documents daily reports prior to the end of each shift free of errors and omissions.
Responds to incidents promptly; conducts impartial investigations of incidents involving customers and guests and their interactions with department staff, in accordance with department policies.
Maintains own current knowledge for process and performance improvement.
Oversees collection, documentation and reporting of traffic and parking violations in accordance with  policies and procedures; all cash revenue is reconciled and banked as required, and all maintenance and repairs are documented and actioned where necessary.
Adheres to SidraÂ’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.
In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.
