Lead Loss Prevention Engineer
Seeking a permanent Lead Loss Prevention Engineer to join a well-established organisation based in Qatar. You will join the global leader in project support and services, becoming a long term part of a large and ambitious company with world-wide reach.
As a Lead Loss Prevention Engineer you will provide input and support covering a large offshore project, leading a team of loss prevention engineers and acting as focal point for loss prevention across the project.
Seeking candidates with an Engineering degree or equivalent, with Chemical Engineering highly preferable.
15 years of experience as a minimum is needed to take the Lead position, experience spanning process safety and risk in the Oil and Gas industry, with specific focus on offshore facilities.
You must be experienced in HSE requirements, including preparation of the HSE plan and the Loss Prevention documents relevant to the offshore projects.
You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore design projects.
As Lead Loss Prevention Engineer you will be developing and reviewing process safety designs and documents across the discipline; leading HAZOP, HAZID, PHAST and blast circulations
You will need to be highly experienced in fire and gas detections philosophies, layout, modelling and specifications, as well as loss prevention equipment
