JOB PURPOSE: To ensure secure, reliable, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure across the organization by leading infrastructure operations, systems security, and strategic technology initiatives aligned with business goals. KEY RESULTS AREAS / DELIVERABLES and KEY ACTIVITIES: INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of on-premise and cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and resilience. Manage servers, storage, network systems, virtualization platforms, and endpoint systems. Monitor and improve infrastructure uptime, response time, and performance metrics. Conduct infrastructure capacity planning and performance tuning. Lead implementation of upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. Coordinate with third-party providers like Almana Computer Services for support and service delivery. Maintain scheduled server updates and patching through a structured maintenance plan. INFRASTRUCTURE SECURITY Ensure infrastructure security through appropriate architecture, tools, policies, and monitoring. Manage security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access controls. Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits regularly. Respond to and investigate infrastructure-related security incidents. Ensure alignment with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks. Work with external partners on ISO 27001 implementation, audits, and renewals. Manage SOC servers and take prompt action on any alerts or issues. TEAM LEADERSHIP Lead and develop the infrastructure and security team for effective service delivery and support. Define team goals, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Organize technical training and ensure continuous skills development. Foster collaboration within IT teams and with business stakeholders. Promote a high-performing, customer-oriented culture. Supervise IT Helpdesk, Support, and Network teams to ensure efficient operations. Set KPIs and conduct annual evaluations for team performance tracking. IT OPERATIONS AND COMPLIANCE Ensure stable IT operations through effective incident, problem, and change management processes. Oversee data backup, restoration procedures, patch management, and system monitoring. Maintain detailed infrastructure documentation and conduct regular audits. Ensure compliance with ITIL practices, internal policies, and external standards. Generate infrastructure reports and metrics for leadership review. Perform regular backup restore tests to ensure data recovery readiness. SECURITY GOVERNANCE Develop and implement security governance frameworks and controls to protect infrastructure assets. Establish and enforce access management and cybersecurity policies. Conduct awareness and training sessions related to infrastructure security. Collaborate with audit, compliance, and risk teams on assessments. Lead remediation plans for identified security gaps or risks. PROJECT DELIVERY Manage and deliver infrastructure-related projects on time, within budget, and according to scope. Define project requirements, timelines, and resource allocations. Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams for smooth execution. Monitor project progress and mitigate risks or delays. Document project outcomes and lessons learned for continuous improvement. VENDOR AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT Optimize infrastructure and security investments through effective vendor and budget management. Evaluate vendor solutions and negotiate contracts and SLAs. Prepare and monitor departmental budgets aligned with business plans. Track expenditures, forecast needs, and ensure cost-effective spending. Maintain license compliance and track asset utilization. Skills EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP, AWS/Azure Certified, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security roles At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership position Hands-on experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS), firewalls, servers, virtualization, storage, and backups Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and regulatory compliance COMPETENCIES: Leadership and team management Infrastructure architecture and planning Cybersecurity tools and best practices Project management and stakeholder communication Problem-solving and decision-making Budgeting and vendor negotiation#J-18808-Ljbffr
