With over 1,000 employees and 9,000 contractors across more than 70 countries, our reach and talent pool are unmatched.Position: Senior Project Engineer in Qatar for a major Oil & Gas Company.Qualifications: B.Sc. in Engineering from a recognized university; higher degrees are advantageous.Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management association is a plus.Experience: At least 12 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major EPIC projects in offshore oil & gas.Specific experience with Process/Gas Compression Platforms, including Jackets, Topside, Bridges, and Appurtenances.Strong communication skills, including presentation, report writing, and meeting management.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide project engineering and management for the Process Platform/Facilities of the BH Redevelopment Project, following the Company’s Project Management Framework.Lead and coordinate project teams to execute the Process Platform/Facilities scope.Develop and implement Project Execution Plans.Participate in project planning, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, progress reporting, change management, and stage gate approvals.Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams to review deliverables and resolve technical issues.Assist in scope of work preparation, tendering, evaluation, and recommendations.Monitor contractor and vendor performance, ensuring milestones are met.Contribute to risk management by identifying and mitigating project risks.Manage project interfaces among contractors and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with HSE standards and quality standards in coordination with QHSE engineers.Handle contractor claims, review final accounts, and variations.Ensure timely project handover, including certifications, punch list closure, and documentation.Support project close-out activities.Prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.Mentor Qatar-based associates for skill development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
