Group Specialist - Network Security
Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAdminister, troubleshoot, and manage network security solutions implemented in Shared Security Hubs, including next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, security incident monitoring, etc.Provide prompt assistance to the Business Units (BUs) for any new requirements or network support concerns.Fine-tune and implement configuration changes to security controls as per requirements.Carry out infrastructure-related vulnerability assessments of IT systems to identify potential vulnerabilities, make recommendations to control identified risks, and work with relevant teams to ensure implementation.Respond rapidly and effectively to IT security incidents, managing them according to DPW incident management lifecycle, including forensic analysis for evidence gathering and preservation.Periodically conduct risk assessments for existing firewall rules and new change requests submitted by the business.Maintain and monitor site-to-site connectivity established with global DP World sites.Work closely with internal teams (Network, Windows, Linux, BU IT) to continuously improve security posture within DP World group.Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards, and recommend best practices applicable to DP World group.Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting positive behaviors aligned with DP World's principles, values, and culture; ensure the highest safety standards; adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.Perform other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLSKnowledge and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.8-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Network Security and managing security solutions.Hands-on experience with Check Point, Fortinet solutions, Check Point Multi-Domain, and Azure Security.Experience with data leakage prevention solutions, O365 Security, next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, and OT/Io T security.Good understanding of cloud security (Azure, AWS) is desirable.Ability to adapt in complex environments, with a willingness and drive to learn independently.Industry-recognized certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, etc.Experience in creating technical documentation for security tools and procedures.Knowledge of e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, and port operations applications is an advantage.Experience working with multinational companies (MNCs) is preferable.Soft Skills Excellent analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Project and program management skills.Effective time management.Team player with conflict management skills.Ability to thrive in complex environments, eager to learn new skills.Cultural awareness.Technical Skills Deep technical knowledge of IT technologies, operating systems, networking, and global business experience.Understanding of security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.Solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.#LI-AA6 #J-18808-Ljbffr
