In this role you will ensure that accounting entries for real estate projects (receipts, invoices, JV) are timely and accurately recorded and in accordance with the accepted principles followed by the company.Responsibilities: Ensure that the activities related to collections & banking are in line with the policies.Assure timely and accurate invoicing of sales units & lands.Review the bank reconciliation and take the necessary actions.Ensure customer refunds are calculated accurately, as per policy and DOA.Review the unapplied receipts on a regular basis.Reconciliation of AR subledger balance vs Trial Balance.Prepare the AR schedules and take the necessary actions for cleanup of the long outstanding balances.Ensure the business units timely deposit the cash.Co-ordinate with BU’s on any issue relating to revenues.Review the workflows & action accordingly.Prepare the AR aging report, the new sales and collection report, PDC report, bounced report, etc. monthly for management.Follow up with business on collection & update the overdue status accordingly.Handle and provide submissions for escrow audit.Familiar with the escrow rules for collection under RERA regulations and TAS system (Trust Account System).Familiar with sales force and Oracle Fusion.Ensure Internal and external audit requirements are met.Verify the management fees of DHRE.Support the sales team in daily activities.Review the AR VAT Register.Review the cheques, recall requests and follow up on the replacement.Perform other tasks as assigned.Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.CA/CPA/ACCA professional certification is preferrable.A minimum of 5+years' experience in handling the role within the real estate industry.For more information about Shamal, please visit our Linked In page: https: //www.linkedin.com/company/shamalholding/Note: Due to a high influx of profiles, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Finance and Accounting/Auditing Industries Financial Services and Real Estate Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Shamal Holding by 2x Get notified about new Accounts Receivable Specialist jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Accounts Payable Specialist (Immediate Start
