Reservoir Engineer I
Description
We are looking for a Reservoir Engineer I for one of our clients with the following details : End Date : 31-DEC-2026 Work status : Residential, Single Activities Perform detailed wells performance analysis and post-mortem synthesis Perform transverse subsurface studies to improve production and injection (slugging, NFA decline analysis, stabilization analysis, GL optimization, ..etc) Perform simulation studies to define optimum injection (Water and WAG), short term forecasting, and voidage replacement improvement Use of segmented well modelling (IX) both 3D and Single Well Models to optimize and design ALS complex wells Consolidate and prioritize reservoir surveillance plans, and ensure close follow-up Propose digital initiatives within RMO or with the help of Digital Business Solution and subsequently mature them until implementation phase Ensure opportunities identification, ranking and maturation (Workovers, Stimulation, ..etc) until FID for Deep Redrills, workovers and other opportunities Follow-up with service providers external studies (subsurface, PVT, SCAL, modelling, ..etc) Consolidate the yearly reservoir management plans (RMP) and ensure their execution Monthly follow-up of potential and production and consolidate reasons for deviations Consolidate cross RMO teams activities and studies and : Voidage prioritization, WAG cycles optimization, WI and Gas Lift optimization RSP definition and pre-arbitration, coordination of surface sampling, and PVT analysis follow-up Synthesis and consolidation of wells post-mortem and loopback, IRM shareholder's meeting presentation and cross-teams consolidation Reservoir Management (RESM) materials for SH's quarterly meetings Opportunities ranking and maturation requirements Support the New Well Delivery team all along the WO's SOR process Coach and mentor junior team members and Qatari young professionals. Qualification and Experience Required : 6+ years of experience within a subsurface organization Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree, and preferably Master's degree (in a RE / PE subject) In-depth understanding of Reservoir Management and surveillance processes Proven track record of maximising value in complex carbonate fields Reservoir and geoscience working experience in an operated asset Strong experience in Business Analytics tools Affinity for Data Science and Digital Solution is highly desired Strong and proven communication and collaboration skills Strong experience on reservoir dynamic modelling (Eclipse / IX) and model history matching Detail oriented with bias to action Ability to collaborate and influence across multidisciplinary teams and entities Ability to influence business decision making#J-18808-Ljbffr
