Overview The Landscape Area Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing distribution and other business strategies that promote sustainable growth for the company in South Africa, Qatar & Kuwait. The responsibilities of this position include growing Rain Bird's Landscape sales ahead of market growth, leading sales & marketing objectives, identifying and opening new distribution channels, and providing customers with product support. Responsibilities also include developing & executing a strategic plan for the region. Responsibilities Establishing a robust, high-performing Distribution Network in South Africa, Qatar & Kuwait. Growing Rain Bird Landscape product sales ahead of market growth. Evaluating market potential, providing recommendations on pricing, promotions, and product introductions, and executing strategic plans. Focusing on achieving tangible outcomes that lead to business growth and increased market share. Growing brand awareness and market presence. Building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Decision Makers, Influencers, and Specifiers. Identifying and developing new business opportunities for Rain Bird landscape & Ag products. This position requires extensive international travel (70-75%). Qualifications Business-to-business sales experience in the Landscape, industrial products, or similar industries is a major advantage. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to build rapport, develop strong customer relationships, and have a proven record of delivering business growth. Additional qualifications include: 8 years of successful product sales and/or specification experience (sales through projects and distribution channels). BA or BS degree or similar qualification. Clear and concise communication skills in both verbal and written English. Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented, with team leadership capabilities. Strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication across various levels of business. Willingness to accept new challenges and a desire to grow within the organization. Experience working within a multinational organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Desired Qualifications MBA Mechanical or Agriculture Engineering B2B sales experience Irrigation industry experience within Southern African and GCC Territories.
