Click Me, a growing Digital Marketing division of National Debt Advisors (NDA), are in need of a Web Developer to develop new websites and maintaining current websites. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the target segments - identifying trends, new opportunities, threats and environmental influences to spot opportunities for innovation. In addition, they will create the best user journey, increasing overall conversion rates across all websites.
Role Overview:
Designing, maintaining and implementing website coding architecture and new features
WordPress knowledge (Essential)
Analyze website data and heatmaps software in order to justify design changes
Responsible for the creation of new websites and maintenance of existing websites
Suggesting new website solutions
HTML & CCS proficient
Knowledge of responsive design principles
JavaScript (advantageous)
XML/JSON (advantageous)
Must be multi-skilled and/ or willing to learn and apply new technologies and languages
Monitor and analyze site performance ( Bounce rate, conversions, heatmap data) whilst providing recommendations and implementing changes
Skills/Qualification Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
Relevant degree/ diploma in Web Development
A qualification, or experience, in UX Design or Design Thinking (advantageous)
Exceptional design skills and attention to detail
Creative mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Experience with design software and wireframes
Must be multi-skilled and/ or eager to learn and apply new technologies and coding languages
Understanding of WordPress and other CMS platforms
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for new website projects
Maintaining current websites and fixing bugs
Improving current websites based on best practices
Improving user experience/ journey flow
Optimizing page loading speeds and capacity
Creating prototypes for usability testing and design discussions
A/B testing (split testing) of landing pages for designated campaigns
Researching performing competitive audits and the market, then converting findings into design decisions
Providing insight into best principles and design trends
Designing the interaction behavior for new features using workflows, wireframes, etc
Have experience designing across multiple devices and browsers0
Monitoring and reporting monthly performance
Salary negotiable on experience
